Job Description

Role Title: Assistant Project Support Officer Clerk Grade: 3/4 Employment Type: Temporary until 31st of March 2026 with the potential to be extended or made ongoing Remuneration: Salary range for Clerk 3/4 is $84,659 - $92,701 pa, plus superannuation and leave loading Location: Gosford Office 23 days per week, with hybrid and flexible working conditions available (note: office attendance days subject to change) About the team The Long Service Corporation (LSC) manages portable long service schemes for the building and construction industry, contract cleaning industry and the community services industry. You will be joining the Projects Team within the Strategy & Governance division. The Projects Team plays a pivotal role in supporting strategic initiatives across LSC. We work closely with various parts of the organisation to ensure quality decision-making and strong governance. Our work is diverse, fast-paced, and impactfulranging from policy reviews to preparing key reports and responding to ad hoc requests that shape the direction of LSC. If you''re looking to gain exposure to the inner workings of a regulator and contribute to meaningful projects, this is the team to join. Day-to-day Provide administrative support to the Secretary of Industry Committees Provide a range of administrative support and support services including records management, briefings, correspondence, meeting, and event coordination, to support the project teams project management delivery Undertake legislative research, including reviewing legal opinions and industry information, to support policy development and ensure alignment with regulatory frameworks Communicating with stakeholders to ensure LSC procedures are regularly updated and aligned with LSC policies Support the preparation of the LSC Annual Report Respond to a wide range of ad hoc requests that require agility and problem-solving To be successful in this role you will demonstrate That you are a proactive person who can work independently to deliver to tight deadlines and be flexible and resilient in an environment of changing or competing priorities. You have intermediate written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable messages for diverse audiences. You are highly organised and detail-oriented, with adept project management skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities and deadlines. You have previous experience working with or within a regulatory, compliance or government environment.
