Youll contribute to the centre vision and bring it to life by partnering with community groups, designing programs & services, utilising marketing strategies, upholding safeguarding, maintaining financial performance, and encouraging exceptional customer service with a community development focus. Youll be great in this role if you Are an up-and-coming leader, who drives with vision and energy to coach, inspire and lead a team Are passionate about engaging with a local community to provide a place of connection, fitness and health and highly motivated to achieve targets Have previous financial management experience, including budget preparation skills Hold a tertiary qualification in, Business Management, Community Development, Youth or Social Services or another related (highly regarded) Have demonstrated experience in the community development and recreation sector Have previous experience managing a centre (desirable) Are able to obtain a National Police Certificate, Working with Children card and HLTAID011 First Aid qualification Our latest survey results At the Y WA, we thrive on feedback and deeply value our peoples insights that drive positive change.
