OverviewThe Land Development Corporation (LDC) is the Northern Territory Government''s strategic land developer, established under the Land Development Corporation Act 2003. With a mandate to deliver industrial, commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects, the LDC plays a pivotal role in enabling investment, supporting industry growth, and providing the land supply needed to sustain the Territory''s economic and social advancement.The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is the principal executive responsible for leading the organisation to achieve its vision of unlocking the potential of land to drive economic growth. Accountable to the LDC Board and the Minister, the CEO will provide strategic leadership, governance and commercial rigour, while ensuring land development projects are delivered in line with government priorities, industry demand, and community expectations.The opportunity offers a base pay range of A$260,000.00/yr - A$290,000.00/yr. Qualifications & ExperienceDemonstrated expertise in complex organisational leadership and large-scale project delivery in land or infrastructure development.Proven ability to balance financial performance with public interest outcomes and to navigate regulatory environments.Strong stakeholder engagement skills with experience building partnerships across industry, government, and communities.Track record of strategic acumen, sound judgment, resilience in politically sensitive or high-profile contexts, and the ability to lead high-performing teams.
