Add expected salary to your profile for insightsBe a part of transforming Australias digital landscape as a Customer Field Technician.Youll make a real impact to every-day Australians in this customer facing role where youll get to see the happy faces you help!A bit about your roleAs a Customer Field Technician, you will be based across the Ingham, Cardwell, Tully, and Mission Beach regions. You will play a vital role working on Customer Service field tasks across potentially all nbn technologies. This is an autonomous role where you will be responsible for installation, repair and maintenance of nbn products and services. Youll have the opportunity to work in multiple environments both internal and external but predominantly inside the customers premises.Cabling installation, including copper and fibre, encompasses jointing, jumpering, and splicing.The role also involves customer premises installation of nbn Customer Premises Equipment (CPE), as well as fault diagnosis and repair of nbn cabling networks and nbn CPE.These positions operate between the hours of 7am to 7pm, depending on business needs, and we encourage a flexible working environment.A bit about youWere seeking both experienced candidates as well as those with transferable skill from a communication cabling or electrical background and who are keen to explore a new career in the telco sector.A large part of this role is working in customers premises, so it will also be important you have exceptional customer service skills and can display honesty and integrity while being self-managed and motivated.We will also be looking for a current & clean Drivers License and strong and personable communication skills, both written and verbal.Life at nbnTo be part of nbn is to be part of something bigger.
