This includes:Assist with diamond core logging of underground grade control and exploration programsSupport the Mining Team in maximising ore recovery and minimising dilutionCollect and analyse underground grade control data (face mapping, face sampling, core logging) in preparation for block modellingAssist with underground diamond drill rig managementUtilise site systems and QA/QC protocols to ensure the quality and integrity of dataContribute to the delineation, extension and discovery of Reserves and ResourcesWhat You Bring:Youll bring your proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and a collaborative approach and bring the following skills and experience:Bachelor of Science majoring in GeologyPrevious mining industry experience preferably gold with exposure to mine geology, grade control practices and reserve/stope definition drillingExperience using Microsoft Office Suite and mining software such as Datamine and Leapfrog or similarPossess a current manual Drivers LicenceAt Gold Fields, we expect all employees to embody and enhance our values, safety culture, and performance, aligning with our purpose of creating enduring value beyond mining.Gold Fields is committed to achieving an inclusive workforce.
