About the role As General Manager, you will oversee the daytoday operations of the facility, ensuring exceptional standards of care, compliance, and staff engagement. You will provide strong, empathetic leadershipbalancing clinical excellence with financial and operational performance, all while fostering a supportive, valuesdriven culture. Key responsibilities Lead and inspire your team to deliver exceptional, personcentred care. Build trusted relationships with residents, families, and the local community. Ensure full compliance with the Aged Care Act 1997, Quality Standards, and Respect policies. Drive continuous improvement through quality systems, audits, and accreditation readiness. Oversee financial management, budgets, and resource allocation. Provide coaching and mentorship to staff, encouraging collaboration and integrity. Represent the facility professionally in partnerships with health professionals and stakeholders. What you will bring Strong clinical knowledge aligned with best practice (preferably in aged care). Proven experience in leadership and people management. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain). Financial management, budgeting, and rostering expertise. Experience leading teams through organisational change. Minimum three years experience in residential aged care.
