As a Bricklayer, you will be responsible for the construction and repair of brickwork structures, playing a crucial role in the successful delivery of our building projects. This is a full-time position based on-site in the Upper Hunter (Denman, Muswellbrook, Scone)What you''ll be doingReading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and specifications to understand project requirementsPreparing and laying brickwork to construct walls, foundations, and other structuresEnsuring the accurate measurement, cutting, and fitting of bricks and blocksMaintaining the quality and consistency of brickwork by applying appropriate techniquesCollaborating with other tradespeople to coordinate the progress of construction projectsAdhering to all health, safety, and environmental regulations on-siteReporting any issues or concerns to the project manager in a timely mannerWhat we''re looking forFormal qualification in bricklaying or equivalent, such as a Certificate III in Bricklaying/BlocklayingMinimum 2 years'' experience as a Bricklayer, preferably in a commercial or residential construction environmentProficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprintsStrong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanshipExcellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with other tradesAbility to work safely and follow all site safety proceduresWhat we offerAt Brick & Beyond Pty Ltd, we are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
