Job title: Occupational Therapist - Community role- Graduates welcome | Bendigo Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per annum super Location: Bendigo, VIC The Client, a registered NDIS health provider, offers a diverse array of community-based, allied health services to individuals of all ages and abilities. The role requires the provision of evidence-based services through multiple delivery models, including telehealth, community visits, and centre-based services. Referrals can originate via the NDIS, Medicare, or private sources. This is a mobile role, offering the flexibility to work from home or the company''s hubs when not conducting client appointments. Key Responsibilities The professional will be responsible for a range of duties focused on maximizing client function and engagement: Assessing and providing interventions for children and adults living with a range of disabilities. Working within the NDIS framework to maximize clients'' level of function, capacity, and social engagement. Assisting clients with assistive technology assessment, recommendations, and applications (in relevant fields). Completing timely documentation and report writing. Managing a varied caseload. Meeting company professional expectations (e.g., meeting billables and effective client management). Attending meetings, supervision, and personal development sessions (as required). Building relationships with key stakeholders, including therapists, clients, and referral sources. Working across leading software platforms and online tools. Essential Requirements Candidates must possess the following qualifications and checks: Relevant Tertiary qualifications in a related field. Discipline-specific professional registration (i.e., AHPRA). Working with Children Check (WWCC or Blue Card). NDIS Worker Screening Check. Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination (or valid exemption). Police Check & International Police Check (only applicable to individuals who have lived overseas). Drivers licence and access to a reliable vehicle. Car insurance.
