OverviewPosition Title: Health Promotion OfficerClassification: MI44 - Health Promotion Officer G1 Y1Salary per hour: $35.72 + superannuation + generous salary packaging optionsEmployment Type: Ongoing part-time 64 hours per fortnightAward: Allied Health Professionals (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise agreement 2021-2026Role DescriptionThe Health Promotion Officer will lead and strategically plan and deliver dynamic community initiatives to improve health and wellbeing outcomes within our local community in partnership with local agencies, and to provide expert oversight for the implementation of a complex system approach to improving health and wellbeing of Heathcote Health staff and volunteers.ResponsibilitiesLead and strategically plan community health promotion initiatives.Deliver dynamic programs in partnership with local agencies to improve health and wellbeing outcomes.Provide oversight for the implementation of a complex system approach to health improvement for Heathcote Health staff and volunteers.QualificationsExperience in project management.Experience in the development, implementation and evaluation of health promotion activities.Ability to produce both written and oral reports with advanced computing skills.Culture and BenefitsLocated a short drive from Bendigo and Melbourne, Heathcote is a renowned centre for its regional food and wine culture.
