Posted 2 days agoDescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. This role includes maintaining common areas, meeting spaces, restaurants, fitness centers, and pools, as well as performing preventative maintenance for guest rooms and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment. If you are proactive, dependable, and skilled in repairs, wed love to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesMaintain mechanical areas and tools in a clean and orderly condition.Ensure the safety and cleanliness of public spaces through daily inspections.Organize and maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces to support efficient operations.Assist with pool, sauna, and fitness center maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.Troubleshoot and repair building systems, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and general carpentry.QualificationsAvailability for on-call hours, including weekends.Proficiency in PMS Rooms Management, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPointPhysical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.Compensation$16 - $20 hourlyAbout Comfort Inn & Suites CambridgeOur property''s vision is to have a positive impact.
