Operating across Victoria, Southeast South Australia, and Tasmania, our Farm Milk Collection team guarantees the safe, timely, and accurate collection of raw milk. With a fleet of 45 trucks boasting an average age of just 2 years, we maintain NHVR mass management and Maintenance accreditations. Partnering with CMV, our fully equipped workshops ensure topnotch maintenance and repairs, including our latest investment in a new milk metering and sampling system, showcasing our commitment to continuous improvement. Were now looking for a casual driver to join our Spreyton team. Responsibilities Conduct thorough pre and posttrip inspections of your truck, ensuring its in optimal condition, and promptly reporting any maintenance or repair needs. Adhere to all relevant transportation regulations and company policies, especially those concerning safety, cleanliness, and quality control. Operate your truck safely and efficiently to collect milk from farms and deliver it to designated receiving facilities. Maintain accurate records of your trips, including detailed run sheets and heavy vehicle work diaries as needed. Identify and promptly report any potential risks, incidents, or near misses encountered during your travels. Represent Fonterra positively by providing exceptional customer service and acting as a brand ambassador in all your interactions. About you Must have a valid HC license. Must know how to drive heavy vehicles. Care about safety and report risks or close calls. Act professionally and be friendly to customers and suppliers. Work hard and be flexible; able to work different shifts as needed. Be ready to learn and stay positive, eager to tackle challenges.
