The Role We are looking for quality and talented Sommeliers, Wait Staff and Hosts to join our teams on a full-time basis. We have roles available at a variety of our venues and there is an opportunity to join at different levels at our venues in Narooma. Responsibilities Greet guests and engage with customers to deliver a positive dining experience Learn and discuss the food and beverage menu with guests Take orders and serve guests promptly and accurately Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service Set and clear tables to a high standard and manage multiple tables in one service Pre-empt guests needs and provide proactive service Qualifications 2+ years of relevant experience in the industry Confident with customer engagement, including greeting guests and discussing the menu Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant, bistro, or hotel Ability to work closely with kitchen and bar staff Understanding of setting and clearing tables to a high standard and managing multiple tables Benefits Competitive annual salary of $76,500-$100,000 Paid parental leave and flexible return to work support for new parents Amazing discounts at 90+ venues Career and development opportunities through the Merivale Academy Employee Assistance Program Employee Referral Program #J-18808-Ljbffr
