As an Assistant Residential Program Manager, you will be responsible for working directly with individuals and staff to ensure that the needs of the individuals living in the group home are met in all areas of service. You will supervise the house basic systems such as ISP and clinical plan implementation, community integration, medication administration, laundry, shopping, menu/meal planning and the maintenance and safety of the group home.*This position is full time 40 hrs Salary starts at: $56,340 yrResponsibilitiesWith the Program Manager, recruit, hire, train, assign, direct, counsel, discipline and evaluate performance of the Group Home DSP StaffWork in cooperation with staff to ensure clients successful participation in appropriate recreational and community activitiesMaintain positive and regular communication with individuals family members who have self-identified as interested in maintaining an active role in their disabled individuals lifeProvide crisis intervention and emergency coverage for assigned site(s). Secures additional resources as needed. Identifies and resolves problems that have resulted in an emergency situationProvide transportation for individuals as neededPosition requires on-call coverage and some evening and weekend work as neededPosition requires some local travel to attend staff meetings and trainings, client functions/appointments and medical treatmentsWhat youll needEducation:High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelors Degree in a related fieldExperience:Three (3) years of related direct support experience required.
