The Role We currently have a full-time opportunity in our Maintenance team for a Fitter on night shift! This role is a permanent full-time opportunity, working Sunday Night to Friday Morning from 10:00pm - 6:30am. Purpose of the Role Diagnose and resolve equipment breakdowns efficiently, minimizing downtime and maintaining productivity in a safe manner Collaborate with other maintenance and production team members to communicate equipment status, particularly during shift changes Maintain safety and compliance standards, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance equipment reliability and production efficiency Work with the Maintenance Manager and Supervisors to conduct root cause analysis on failures and ensure follow up on identified actions Maintain all registers, logs and systems to track repairs, notifications and work activities Develop and maintain a close and collaborative working relationship across the Maintenance, Production, Planning and Engineering teams About You Minimum Certificate 3 in Engineering - Mechanical Trade A safety mindset with a strong commitment to ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and others Can work and communicate well in a team environment Sound understanding of reactive, preventative and predictive maintenance systems and techniques Sound knowledge of highspeed packaging equipment, bearings, seals, shaft repair, conveying systems, etc. Sound analytical and problemsolving skills Great organisational and timemanagement skills Able to work independently, with minimal supervision To be considered for this role, you must have full work rights in Australia.
