Cleaning Assistant - Tamworth NSW Health Employment Information Employment Type: Casual Position Classification: Hospital Assist Grade 2 Remuneration: $29.06 per hour + shift allowances and 12% superannuation Location: Tamworth Hospital The Opportunity HealthShare NSW seeks a compassionate and dedicated Cleaner. In this role you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and wellbeing of patients and visiting staff. Tasks include maintaining a high standard of cleaning services in patient and nonpatient areas, following infection control procedures, waste removal, and conducting infectious cleaning in designated areas. Eligibility Requirements Must satisfy all essential requirements as outlined in the Position Description. Australian work rights are required (citizens, permanent residents, or valid work visa). Position requires immunisation and TB screening; candidate must provide vaccination evidence and complete the OASV Declaration and TB Assessment. Preemployment health assessment may be required for preferred candidates not internally employed.
