Requirements for this role: Flexible hours available 2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role Expected salary: $76,515 - $80,000 per year This is an immediate start position Key duties Select, cut, trim and prepare meat for sale or supply; break sides/quarters into standard cuts to specification. Bone and separate meat, fat and tissue; wash/scrape/trim to remove foreign matter and ensure presentation quality. Transfer carcasses/cuts to boning areas; operate saws, mincers, mixers and fillers safely; clean and sanitise equipment. (If required) humane stunning/slaughter, bleeding, evisceration and dressing in line with approved procedures. Produce smallgoods: batching, curing, filling, cooking/smoking and chill; complete QA/HACCP records. Label/pack to spec; rotate stock (FIFO) and maintain cold-chain integrity. Skills & qualifications Minimum 2 years highly relevant experience or Certificate III in Meat Processing (or equivalent). Proven knife skills; safe operation of meat-processing equipment. Understanding of HACCP/FSANZ requirements; commitment to hygiene and sanitation. Fit for manual handling and working in chilled environments (PPE provided). #J-18808-Ljbffr
