As a valued member of our Kanda team, you will: Provide handson care and guidance to young people in a safe and supportive home environment where young people can grow, learn and thrive.Help create and follow individual care plans tailored to each persons unique needs and goals.Support young people with daily living activities and support their understanding of selfcare, education and recreational activitiesBuild trusting relationships by offering encouragement, stability, safety and emotional supportKeeping accurate and professional records and documentation. What Youll Love About Working with Kanda Comprehensive training and ongoing development, including Therapeutic Crisis Intervention and The Sanctuary Model.Bring flexibility to your week by working a mix of day, evening and sleepover shifts (6:00am 2:00pm, 2:00pm 10:00pm, and 10:00pm 6:00am). Shift times may vary, providing variety and worklife balance.Wellbeing support through the Sonder app, free 24/7 confidential support and resources.A workplace culture where every voice matters and where your growth and wellbeing are a priority. To join our team, youll need: A current drivers licence (Minimum of a P2)A Working with Children Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or be eligible to obtain these).Have completed, or are willing to enrol in, a Certificate IV, Diploma or bachelors degree in a relevant field.Experience with young people or in related areas (disability, mental health, aged care, childcare) is preferred, but not required we welcome applicants who are eager to learn and grow.
