Job Description

Waste Support and Weighbridge Officer Location: Maitland Resource Recovery Facility, Maitland, New South Wales. Employment type: Fulltime, permanent. Salary: $66,927 $74,289 per annum + penalty rates + 12% super. Working hours: 35 hours per week, MondaySunday on a rotating roster with every second weekend. Responsibilities Action administrative tasks supporting the Waste Team and facilitating waste management services. Respond to wasterelated requests, customer correspondence, and inquiries about new services, bin collection, bulky waste, and other wasterelated needs. Provide firstline support to customers at the weighbridge, maintaining accurate transaction records for each vehicle. Complete daily reconciliation of weighbridge activity. Qualifications Certificate IV in Business Administration, Local Government Operations or equivalent experience providing administrative support in a multidisciplinary environment. Excellent customer service skills and strong computer literacy. Team player with a positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively. Prior experience in the waste industry and familiarity with wastemanagement practices is highly desirable.
