Contact: Richard Wiseman 02 6962 1711 Position Information Murrumbidgee Regional High School - Griffith, is a newly de-merged secondary school situated in Griffith, with a 2025 enrolment of 575 students. The enrolment profile includes 107 students with an Aboriginal Heritage, 143 with a Pasifika background, and a significant number of students from EAL/D backgrounds. The new secondary educational structure for the former Murrumbidgee Regional High School includes 2 independent schools supported by a Senior Cross School Coordinator who will ensure the provision of the legacy benefits arising from the previously merged school. The school will share linkages with Murrumbidgee High School - Wade, including senior curriculum and an Aboriginal Learning and Engagement Centre. Murrumbidgee Regional High School Griffith, includes a support unit with 3 classes, the Riverina Suspension Centre - Griffith, and a Clontarf Academy to support the educational provision for Aboriginal boys. Students at the school benefit from the multi-award winning Murrumbidgee Academy of STEM Excellence (MASE) Academy that provides education to students in partner primary schools and secondary schools right across NSW. The school seeks to continue to build on the growing academic performance of students, supporting them through strong academic, cultural, sporting and vocational pathways. Positioned at the heart of the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area, Griffith stands as a sizable regional city. Selection Criteria Approval to teach special education and/or experience teaching students with Autism (Secondary). Demonstrated ability to differentiate curriculum and to devise, implement and review effective individualised education programs that enrich learning experiences for all students, whilst supporting their behavioural, social and well being needs. Demonstrated classroom management skills that support the needs of a diverse range of students, including students with challenging behaviours. Conditions Successful applicants may be entitled to a Recruitment Bonus of $20,000 (Conditions Apply). The Recruitment Bonus will be paid on a prorated basis for permanent parttime teachers and executive staff. The maximum recruitment bonus available for a position is $20,000, including any job share arrangements. A Relocation Support Payment of $5,000 up to $8,000 will be available for eligible applicants. An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement.
