Unlike traditional labour hire providers, we understand that life doesnt always align with a pay cycle and were here to help when it matters most.About The RoleWe are seeking experienced 3x Road Workers/Labourers and 2x MR Truck Drivers to join a regional infrastructure team supporting road construction and maintenance programmes in the Narrandera areas. Working as part of a dedicated field crew, this role contributes directly to the upkeep and improvement of key road networks, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of people and goods across the region.MR Truck Drivers $45.69/hr + super; Road Workers $42.43/hr + super8.5 hours/day, 76 hours/fortnight, 9day fortnightContract length: 6 months, potential for extension depending on the projectMust reside in the Narrandera regionWillingness to work overtime and attend callouts as neededAbility to perform physically demanding tasks safely and efficientlyMust pass a National Police Background CheckCommitment to following workplace safety standards and proceduresKey ResponsibilitiesMR Truck DriversSafely operate and maintain MR vehicles, transporting crew members and equipment to and from worksitesUndertake a range of road maintenance tasks including pothole and pavement repairs, roadside cleanup, and installation of signage and guidepostsAssist in traffic management setup and packdown at worksitesConduct routine vehicle and equipment inspections to ensure compliance and safety standardsAttend callouts and provide responsive support for urgent maintenance issuesCollaborate closely with the team leader and field crew to complete assigned works efficientlyPromote safe working practices and contribute to a positive, teamoriented environmentRoad WorkersPerform general labouring and road maintenance tasks under supervision, using hand and power toolsAssist skilled operators and drivers with repair and installation works including pavement patching, signage, and barrier maintenanceSupport traffic control operations and ensure safe site setup for workers and the publicCarry out cleaning and removal of debris, rubbish, and vegetation from roadsidesParticipate in scheduled maintenance programmes and emergency response activitiesOperate small plant and equipment safely as requiredMaintain work areas in accordance with WHS standards and environmental requirementsAbout YouMR Truck DriversProven experience operating mediumrigid (MR) vehicles in road, civil, or maintenance environmentsCurrent MR Driver Licence or higher (essential)Valid White Card and Workplace Fatigue (WOF) certificationTraffic Control (TC) ticket or willingness to obtain prior to commencementSound understanding of WHS practices and safety proceduresAbility to perform physical labour and work effectively in outdoor regional environmentsReliable, teamoriented, and capable of following directions with minimal supervisionRoad WorkersPrevious experience in road maintenance, construction, or general labouring preferredCurrent Car Licence (C Class) required; MR Licence desirableValid White Card and WOF certificationTraffic Control (TC) ticket or willingness to obtain prior to commencementDemonstrated commitment to safety and quality workmanshipStrong physical fitness and ability to work in varying weather conditionsPositive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentCurrent National Police Check (or willingness to undergo prior to commencement)Full working rights in Australia Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or valid longterm working visa (sponsorship unavailable)Please note:We are also delivering projects in regional NSW locations including the Riverina Region, Broken Hill, Dubbo & Central, Wagga Wagga, Gundagai, Temora, Hunter Valley, Hay, Waratah, Nabiac, Maitland & Hunter, Singleton, Narrandera, Broken Hill, Moruya, Goulburn, Albion Park, Wallendbeen, Newcastle, Coffs Harbour, Port Macquarie, Tweed Heads, Mardi, Southern Highlands, West Wyalong, Tamworth, Cooma & North West.
