About Our School St Joseph''s College Coomera is a Brisbane Catholic Education master planned coeducational College that opened in January 2019. Our first Seniors graduated in 2024. The College is located in Coomera on the Northern Gold Coast, 40 minutes south of the Brisbane CBD. Summary Location: St Joseph''s College - Coomera (S) Start date: 21/01/2026 Work hours: 30.00 Salary: $86,601 - $124,725 + Tier 3 ML Allowance + super Status: Full-time Ad close date: 23/11/2025 Contact: (07) 5670 5500 About The Opportunity Providing leadership in pastoral care for a designated group of students, ensuring their wellbeing aligns with the schools mission and values. Supervising teachers involved in student pastoral care, offering guidance and support for effective practices. Facilitating the induction process for new teachers within your area of responsibility or overseeing their induction when handled by other experienced staff. Monitoring students holistic development, including their academic performance, social interactions, spiritual growth, and physical health, and addressing concerns through appropriate measures. Coordinating efforts among staff focused on student welfare, fostering teamwork and aligning activities with the schools ethos. Managing student behaviour in line with the schools behaviour management policies, promoting a safe and respectful environment. About You Proven ability to provide leadership in pastoral care, ensuring the wellbeing of students aligns with the schools ethos and values. Strong capability to monitor students holistic development, addressing academic, social, spiritual, and physical concerns as necessary. Knowledge of behavior management practices to promote a safe and respectful learning environment. Experience in organizing and overseeing pastoral activities such as camps, retreats, or enrichment events, collaborating effectively with relevant personnel. Commitment to ongoing professional development, implementing best practices in student care and sharing insights with staff. Strong financial management skills, including budget planning and effective handling of material resources within your area of responsibility.
