Overview Do you want to work alongside one of Australias topperforming coalfired power stations? Millmerran processes 11,000 tonnes of coal daily. Ventia provides operational and preventative maintenance services to the Millmerran Power Station, which generates 870 MW of electricity, powering over 1million homes. Contract Status Ventias contract was successfully renewed in September2024, ensuring stable and ongoing work. Role Were looking for a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join the team and ensure the plant runs smoothly through handson maintenance, fault finding, and equipment testing. This is a fulltime opportunity with a flexible 4dayson, 3daysoff roster. What We Offer Condensed fulltime work week into a 4day roster (6am5pm, Monday to Thursday OR Tuesday to Friday) Base rate + tool and travel around $126,585.74 Hourly Rate: $54.73 Opportunity for overtime boost your earnings Exceptional safety records, standards and practices Rural Allowance $34.00$92.00 (pending location) Tool Allowance $23.52 per week Income protection as part of super Longterm contract stability now in its 11th year Secured gated community with onsite parking About You Electrical Licence EEHA certification or experience working in hazardous areas Confined Space Certificate Working from Elevated Work Platforms (EWP) Basic control system and PLC knowledge Drivers Licence Instrumentation or Electronics trade certificate (desirable) First Aid Certificate This role is based onsite at the Millmerran Power Station. For fatigue management reasons, the successful candidate must reside within a 1hour drive of Millmerran or be willing to relocate at their own expense.
