Vineyard Operations Manager - McHenry Hohnen Vintners Job Description McHenry Hohnen Vintners is an established, familyowned winery and vineyard business located in the heart of the Margaret River wine region. Were looking for an experienced and handson Vineyard Operations Manager (VOps) to oversee vineyard operations across our properties and help deliver exceptional fruit for our premium wines. Reporting directly to the Viticulture & Farm Manager, you will be responsible for the daytoday management of vineyard operations, supervision of vineyard staff, and coordination of seasonal activities to maintain our vineyards to the highest standards. Job Requirements Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise vineyard staff and casual teams, ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety. Oversee all vineyard operations, including pruning, canopy management, spraying, harvesting, and machinery maintenance. Work collaboratively with the Viticulturist and owners on strategic vineyard and property improvement decisions. Monitor pest and disease conditions and ensure timely reporting and control. Maintain vineyard presentation and property standards suitable for trade visits and tours. Manage vineyard budgets through efficient labour and machinery use. Ensure tools, machinery, and equipment are properly cared for and stored. Uphold all company policies, procedures, and health and safety practices. About You You will be a proactive and organised leader with strong vineyard management experience and a commitment to producing highquality fruit in a sustainable and safe working environment. Essential Skills and Experience Previous experience in vineyard operations or viticultural management. Strong leadership and team supervision abilities. Competency with vineyard machinery and equipment. Sound understanding of vineyard pest and disease management. Excellent organisational and time management skills.
