Job Description As the Compliance Coordinator you will be accountable for assisting with all aspects of compliance activities and systems on site including: Coordinating all aspects of emergency response procedures and systems on site, including Mines Rescue personnel. Statutorily appointed as Fire Officer, maintaining firefighting standards including equipment, training and inspections. Ensuring safe work practices are carried out in line with department targets and ensuring compliance with the Coal Mining Safety and Health Act and Regulations. Liaising with Statutory Officials, including Undermanagers, to assist with business requirements. Qualifications In-depth knowledge of the Coal Mining Health and Safety Act and Regulations. Experience in a similar role or statutory position within an underground mining operation, with a track record of identifying risks and implementing safe working practices. A Queensland coal mining statutory qualification (Queensland 3rd class Deputy Certification or equivalent) is preferred but not essential; knowledge of S1, S2, S3, G2, G3, and RIIERR201 Conduct Fire Team Operations is required. Additional Information Fulltime permanent position based at Moranbah North Mine, QLD. Monday to Friday staff roster (9day fortnight available). Competitive Salary + Annual Bonus + 12% Superannuation.
