About the role Your role as a Site Safety Coordinator is to support the VIC Modular Team by coordinating and ensuring site implementation and compliance with WHS legislation and SHAPE EHSQ policies and procedures at the Kinglake Manufacturing Facility and construction projects from the entry to completion phase. As part of your role, you can look forward to duties such as: Promote and communicate awareness of EHSQ initiatives within the project teams and to contractors Prepare and complete project-related EHSQ requirements Attend training to understand and educate project teams on legislation and system changes Support with incidents and risk management processes Maintain site safety documentation and ensure all correct site signage is displayed Please note this role will predominantly be based at our Kinglake Manufacturing Facility however travel across Victoria to visit project sites will be required on an as needed basis. About you Experience working at a manufacturing facility or within modular construction is advantageous. 3+ years within a construction or safety role is ideal. A strong passion for safety and willingness to promote a safety-first culture. Certificate IV in Work, Health & Safety or equivalent Solid computer skills in MS Office: Word, Excel, & PowerPoint. Knowledge of legislative requirements and construction industry standards. Experience conducting site safety inspections, audits and incident investigations. Why SHAPE?
