Then a traineeship with Cowra Council may be the opportunity for you! We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Finance team as a Trainee - Customer Service Officer. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain handson experience while completing a nationally recognised qualification Certificate III in Business (Customer Engagement). The Trainee - Customer Service Officer is part of a small team who are the face of our organisation. The successful applicant will be passionate about delivering positive facetoface customer service experiences and enjoy working in a fastpaced environment. This position is responsible for processing front counter and over the phone customer transactions and enquiries using a variety of computer systems as well as liaising across all departments to refer customer services enquiries onto the relevant personnel. Qualifications & Experience Excellent communication and problemsolving skills. The ability to follow direction and procedures, while showing initiative. Intermediate to advanced computer literacy skills with high levels of data entry accuracy and speed. High resilience level and the ability to work well under pressure. The ability to maintain confidentiality. Previous experience in processing of credit card payments and cash handling experience (preferred).
