OverviewElgas Limited Business Development Manager. Bairnsdale (VIC), Australia | req23767. Based out at Bairnsdale or Wodonga, this full-time role will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and driving the company''s growth strategy. You will identify and secure new clients across a range of industries in Gippsland surrounding region.ResponsibilitiesIdentify and secure new business within assigned territories, focusing on acquiring profitable competitor customers.Secure new business within the potential of each market sector in your area in line with annual Business Plans and Budgets.Meet sales targets for LPG and Industrial gases, maintaining customer data in the system.Maintain records of competitors'' customers and develop trade alliances and maintain an active pipeline of opportunities in Sales Force, up to date with leads and successes.Submit timely monthly reports covering margins, volumes, and competitor activity.Ensure customers have valid supply agreements and comply with safety standards.Collaborate with customer service, branch, and transport teams to maintain service levels.What makes you greatIn-depth knowledge of customer needs and technical expertise.Experience in sales, business development, or market development.Energy industry experience in a business-to-business environment is advantageous.Ability to think creatively with an open-minded approach.Strong work ethics with good negotiating and conflict resolution skills and understanding of price management.Strong commitment to safety, compliance with ELGAS Safety Standards and Regulations.
