Job Description Reporting to the Field Maintenance Coordinator and operating from the Southern Maintenance Facility you will be responsible for providing strong leadership to achieve outstanding results for the Maintenance team. About the Role The Planned Maintenance Shutdown Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating all shutdown maintenance activities across a large fleet of field equipment, including 2 electric rope shovels, 2 Liebherr 9800 excavators, 11 Hitachi excavators, and 8 blast hole drills. Accountable for ensuring all planned shutdown repairs and maintenance tasks are executed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality. Focus on minimising equipment downtime, optimising resource utilisation, and supporting overall production continuity. Maintain a safe workplace, provide visible leadership, and coordinate the Field Maintenance team to achieve agreed KPIs. Driving continuous business improvement and quality assurance of maintenance performance using problemsolving skills. Assist in completing detailed analysis of equipment failures to identify and implement effective solutions. Provides coaching and support to drive high performance leveraging previous leadership experience. Completion of frontline leadership or specific maintenance leadership competencies will be highly regarded. Trade level qualifications in mechanical or electrical field, combined with open cut mining experience are essential. Previous field maintenance supervisory role and/or engineering qualifications are highly advantageous. Exceptional communication skills and high level of computer literacy. Experience with fundamentals of Asset Management and proficiency using SAP is desirable.
