In this varied and challenging role you will work within a casemanagement framework in a refuge and outreach setting, providing support to children and families experiencing domestic and family violence. A place to make a difference In this maximumterm, parttime position (9 days per fortnight until end of June 2027, with potential for permanency) you will work 68.4 hours per fortnight as follows: Week1: 7.6 hours per day from Monday to Friday Week2: 7.6 hours per day from Monday to Thursday These hours will be operated from the refuge and in community settings, all located within the Moreton Bay region. What you will do Provide holistic case management, delivering support to vulnerable and disadvantaged clients and supporting relationships for favourable outcomes Identify strengths, establish goals for the programme and review client progress towards these goals Promote skills which increase health, safety and development Enhance stakeholder relationships and partnerships to provide clients with the support they need Work collaboratively within a small team to deliver best practice to women and children experiencing DFV A place to feel valued You are an experienced practitioner passionate about supporting families within a childcentred, strengthsbased framework. You have a strong understanding of the impact of trauma on children and their families and are keenly aware of the additional impacts and barriers experienced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families. It is a genuine requirement of this position that it be filled by a woman as permitted in sections25,104 and105 of the AntiDiscrimination Act,1991. What this role requires Demonstrated experience in case management and knowledge of relevant legislation Knowledge and previous experience working in the Domestic and Family Violence or closely related human services context Demonstrated experience and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and families Strong report writing, analytical and evaluation skills, including data collection and analysis Tertiary qualification in a relevant field and/or significant experience working in a similar service We strongly encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates to apply.
