Youll be responsible for overseeing a team of Technicians, Trade Assistants, and Apprentices, while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure technical excellence and successful project delivery.Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is based at our Campbelltown office and plays a key part in driving operational performance and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction across our electrical division.About the role:The role will lead and deliver electrical projects from concept through to commissioning by ensuring theyre completed on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standardsLeading and managing high and low voltage electrical projects endtoend from planning and design through to construction and commissioning.Developing project scopes, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with clients, engineers, and contractors.Monitoring progress and ensuring delivery against timelines and financial targets.Overseeing and coordinating internal and external project teams, including engineers, subcontractors, and site staff.Providing clear and timely project updates and risk assessments to clients and stakeholders.Preparing and maintaining all project documentation, including plans, reports, and specifications, in line with required standards.Resolving technical issues proactively with the team to ensure project requirements align with client expectations.Supporting business growth by contributing to tender submissions, maintaining client relationships, and assisting with proposal development.Desired Skills and ExperienceAbout you:5+ years of experience managing HV/LV electrical projects, preferably within industrial, utilities, or infrastructure sectors.A strong technical background in high voltage systems, including transformers, switchgear, protection systems, and power cables.Proven ability to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.Strong leadership, team coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills.Highlevel organisational, communication, and reporting abilities.Sound knowledge of safety, compliance, and QA requirements in the electrical industry.Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.About us:IPD Group is a dynamic ASX listed, Australian owned business.
