Task & responsibilities What Youll Be Doing Lead Regional Planning & Engineering Strategy : Develop and execute mid- and long-term plans across Australasia, aligning with FedExs global vision and regional goals. Deliver Operational Excellence : Oversee complex programs including airlift implementation, ground network optimization, and hub & gateway planning to enhance service performance and profitability. Build High-Performing Teams : Recruit, develop, and empower cross-functional teams to deliver superior customer experience and shareholder value. Drive Innovation & Safety : Champion a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across all planning and engineering functions. Manage Budgets & Risk : Control functional budgets, optimize investments, and mitigate operational risks while ensuring regulatory compliance. Qualification & experience What You Bring To succeed in this role, youll need to demonstrate: Proven experience leading large-scale planning and engineering functions, ideally within logistics, aviation, or infrastructure sectors. Strong strategic planning, analytical, and project management capabilities. Exceptional leadership and stakeholder engagement skills across diverse teams and geographies. Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, safety standards, and operational risk management. Degree-level qualifications in Engineering, Logistics, Business, or related fields. Postgraduate or job-specific certifications are highly desirable. Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus. Additional Information This position is based permanently in Mascot, NSW.
