This is a pivotal leadership role focused on operational excellence, resident wellbeing, and empowering highperforming village teams. About The Role As Area Manager, youll oversee the operational, financial, and people performance of multiple retirement villages, ensuring every community delivers on Levandes Everyday Exceptional promise. Youll provide strategic direction, drive employee engagement, and foster strong resident and stakeholder relationships, while ensuring each village operates efficiently, safely, and sustainably. Working closely with the State Operations Manager, Development and Wellbeing teams, youll play a key role in enhancing resident experience, supporting renewal and development projects, and optimising performance across your NSW North portfolio. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop a team of Village Managers across the Port Macquarie and Central Coast regions. Oversee village budgets, financial performance, and CAPEX programs to achieve portfolio targets. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across service delivery, wellbeing, and safety. Partner with Residents Committees and internal stakeholders to build strong, connected communities. Support major business initiatives such as Serviced Apartment Optimisation and development transitions. Champion Levandes values of Caring, Trustworthy, and Pursuing Excellence in everything you do. About You Youre an experienced multisite leader who knows how to inspire teams, build trusted relationships, and deliver results across a complex operational environment. You bring a balance of commercial acumen and genuine care for people: equally comfortable analysing financial performance as you are engaging with residents or coaching your team. You thrive in dynamic, fastpaced settings where priorities shift, and you take a proactive, solutionfocused approach to every challenge. You understand how to lead through influence, create accountability, and bring others on the journey through strong communication and authentic leadership. Youll Also Bring Proven leadership experience overseeing multiple sites or service locations, ideally within retirement living, property, aged care, hospitality, or other customercentric service environments. A track record of building engaged, highperforming teams, developing Village Managers and frontline leaders through coaching, feedback, and empowerment. Strong commercial and financial management capability, including budget oversight, forecasting, and performance reporting to deliver sustainable business outcomes. Exceptional communication and relationshipbuilding skills, with the ability to influence across all levels from residents and staff to executive leaders and external partners. Analytical and problemsolving ability to identify trends, assess risk, and make informed, datadriven decisions. Operational excellence mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement, compliance, and service quality. Techsavvy and confident in using systems, data, and Microsoft Office tools to monitor performance and drive accountability. Adaptability and resilience, with a calm, pragmatic approach to managing competing priorities and change.
