OverviewFinance is central to the Councils transformational agenda, and following a review of the Senior Leadership Team, we are seeking two ambitious professionals to join our dynamic team.As Assistant Director Finance, you will be a key member of our Corporate Management Team, acting as the lead officer for strategic financial management within the Council with responsibility as the Deputy S151 Officer. You will report to the Executive Director Finance & Commercial, supporting in shaping and leading the delivery of financial operations across the Council.ResponsibilitiesThe Head of Finance oversees all finance functions, including the annual Statement of accounts, budgetary processes, financial reporting and monitoring, procurement, risk, and treasury management.
