About the role Advise the Board and Executive on strategy, performance, and financial viability to ensure the delivery of safe, equitable health services. Drive the $1.0 billion investment in healthcare to maximise clinical outcomes whilst ensuring surpluses for reinvestment, proactive financial management, and a stable operating environment. Strategically lead the full portfolio of finance, assets, infrastructure, and ITdriving added value and performance oversight across the organisation. About you Membership of a recognised professional accounting body. Management and senior leadership experience in a similar sized organisation, with health sector expertise highly regarded. Analytical, innovative and critical thinking skills to successfully drive complex programs in a demanding regional environment. Experience leading and transforming largescale financial management and procurement functions, using strategic advice to drive demonstrable outcomes. Champion a collaborative culture built on accountability, transparency and achievement, leveraging your leadership to ensure longterm operational and organisational sustainability. Advanced expertise in negotiation, consultation and communication critical for managing diverse government and community stakeholders. Outstanding personal qualities fully consistent with the core values of Queensland Health and Central Queensland Health.
