To reach nameplate capacity, we are undertaking further development and expansion capital works, and we need skilled and driven professionals to help deliver this next stage.At SO4, we pride ourselves on being a fast-growing, agile company where innovation, collaboration, and excellence drive everything we do.At our core, we value: People, Ownership, Nurture, Drive, and Safety.About the roleReporting to the Superintendent of Work Health & Safety (WHS), the Emergency Services Security Officer (ESSO) plays a critical role in protecting people, property, and assets across our Lake Way operations. Working an 8/6 FIFO roster from Wiluna, you will deliver proactive site security (including regular patrols), rapid emergency response and maintaining a safe and secure environment for all personnel.About youYou will demonstrate a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and an ethical approach. You will have a minimum of three years experience in the mining and resources industry (including working night shifts) and proven experience in an emergency response position within a remote environment. You will communicate confidently and effectively with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure success in this role. You will also have an intermediate understanding of the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 and the Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022, as well as a sound comprehension of local, state, and federal emergency management regulations and requirements.To be successful you will haveCertificate III Mines Emergency Response & Rescue, including Vertical Rope Rescue, Road Crash Rescue and Confined Space Rescue qualifications and Hazard Material Management qualifications (essential).Advanced First Aid (essential) (qualification to be kept updated every 3 years unless you have a higher qualification in first aid).Collect Specimens for Drugs of Abuse Testing (desirable).Construction White Card (essential).Certificate II Security and associated security licence (essential).Intermediate computer literacyIntermediate proficiency in Office 365 applications.Experience using Pronto on an intermediate level.Working knowledge using Aconex.Intermediate user of INX InControl and Intuition.What we offer youOur culture is inclusive, friendly, and fun.
