About Us Victorian Auto Services has been in business for over 20 years focusing on all mechanical, auto electrical, roadworthy, air conditioning and on-site mobile repairs. About the Role A Qualified and Experienced Auto Electrician is required for immediate start based in our busy West Melbourne workshop. Air Conditioning handling accreditation and experience preferred. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a range of electrical and mechanical issues, performing rewiring, using and carrying out air-conditioning diagnostics, servicing, and repairs. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair electrical faults in a range of vehicles Perform wiring, rewiring, and installation of aftermarket accessories Conduct A/C diagnostics, leak detection, servicing, and repairs both in the workshop and mobile Use diagnostic scan tools to identify issues Perform battery, starter motor, alternator testing and replacement Diagnose and repair fuel Injection issues in a range of vehicles Diagnose and repair air bag faults Work with workshop management to ensure efficient workflow Maintain accurate job records and adhere to safety standard Requirements Qualified Auto Electrician (Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent) ARCtick licence (preferred/required) Proven experience with automotive auto electrical / air-conditioning systems Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and in a team Good communication and customer-service skills Punctual and reliable Current Australian drivers licence What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Supportive team environment Opportunities for professional development, learn new skills within our experienced team Stable long-term employment Close to public transport Please send your resume and a brief cover letter to apply.
