About the Role Advise the Board and Executive on strategy, performance, and financial viability to ensure the delivery of safe, equitable health services. Drive the $1.0 billion investment in healthcare to maximise clinical outcomes whilst ensuring surpluses for reinvestment, proactive financial management, and a stable operating environment. Strategically lead the full portfolio of finance, assets, infrastructure, and IT, driving added value and performance oversight across the organisation. About You Membership of a recognised professional accounting body. Management and senior leadership experience in a similar sized organisation, with health sector expertise highly regarded. Advanced analytical, innovative, and critical thinking skills to drive complex programmes in a demanding regional environment. Proven ability to lead and transform largescale financial management and procurement functions, driving demonstrable outcomes. Champion a collaborative culture built on accountability, transparency, and achievement. Expertise in negotiation, consultation, and communication to manage diverse stakeholders. Outstanding personal qualities fully consistent with the core values of Queensland Health and Central Queensland Health. Compensation and Benefits Total remuneration value up to $284,962 per annum, comprised of: Salary: $202,404 - $220,983 per annum. 12.75% employer superannuation contribution. 17.5% leave loading.
