Job Description The Solid Plasterer will be responsible for preparing, applying, and finishing plaster on interior and exterior surfaces to achieve high-quality finishes that meet company standards and client expectations. The role involves working across residential renovation and maintenance projects in the Morayfield region and surrounding areas. Daily Tasks Preparing walls, ceilings, and other surfaces by cleaning, levelling, and applying base coats where required. Mixing and applying plaster, cement, or other materials using hand and machine tools. Applying smooth, textured, and decorative finishes to walls and ceilings. Repairing and patching existing plasterwork, including cracks, holes, and water damage. Installing and finishing cornices, mouldings, and other decorative elements. Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards, following company procedures and Australian building codes. Requirements Qualification: Certificate III in Solid Plastering or equivalent trade qualification (at least 3 years of work experience can replace qualification requirement). Experience: At least 3 years of work experience. Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship. Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications. Physically fit and capable of manual handling and working at heights when required. Current drivers licence and reliable transport. Commitment to safe work practices and maintaining a clean job site.
