Psychologist (Adolescent Day Program) An opportunity has become available for one or several Psychologists to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 13,000strong team is on providing worldclass health care to people living in the Gold Coast and northern New South Wales region of Australia. Responsibilities Participate in multidisciplinary team assessments within the ADP specific to children, young people and their families Utilise clinical skills in therapeutic assessment and intervention within the Child and Youth Mental Health Services (CYMHS) Contribute a psychological perspective to team meetings and clinical reviews regarding treatment planning decisions Maintain own professional development through participation in seminars, further training and professional interaction with other psychologists Qualifications and Requirements Tertiary degree in Psychology AHPRA Registration Valid driver licence Evidence of vaccination or willingness to be vaccinated against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B Tuberculosis screening to determine vaccination requirement Declaration of serious disciplinary history must be disclosed Criminal history screening required for new employees (cost covered by GCH) Statewide flexible work options and modern facilities A diverse work culture and inclusive environment 12.75% superannuation and 17.5% leave loading Permanent fulltime position Competitive base salary ranging from $79,051 $116,189 per annum Benefits Salary packaging Modern facilities Diverse work culture Flexible work options Superannuation and leave loading as above About Us The Adolescent Day Program (ADP) is part of the statewide CYMHS continuum of care providing specialist, multidisciplinary assessment and integrated treatment for adolescents with severe, complex and persistent mental illnesses that result in significant psychosocial impairment.
