Adbri is seeking a State Manager Health and Safety to drive the development and execution of high-impact WHS projects aligned with our national Health and Safety Strategy.This newly defined role reports directly to the Executive General Manager of Health & Safety and plays a key part in shaping a positive safety culture across our operations. Youll collaborate with site teams, project leads, and senior leaders to embed safety into every layer of the business.This is not a back-office corporate role. Youll be hands-on, visible, and influential, leading a team of safety professionals and working across diverse environments to deliver meaningful change.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with operational teams to deliver WHS services and achieve safety goals.Lead critical risk verification audits and ensure compliance with safety standards.Develop and monitor WHS management plans; provide training and support.Champion our Work Safe, Home Safe culture across all levels of the business.Provide safety leadership and coach teams on incident management and response.Lead investigations and ensure thorough documentation and reporting.Mentor and develop your team of health and safety professionals.What Youll BringA recognised qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.Health and Safety Auditor certification.ICAM or equivalent incident investigation training.Minimum 5 years of H&S experience in a similar industry.Minimum 5 years of experience managing a team.Benefits of working with usInclusive and values led cultureFlexible work environmentOur businessAdbri Limited is a constructions materials and industrial minerals manufacturing company that has been building a better Australia since 1882.
