Based at our Brunswick East roastery (with flexibility to work from home part of the week), youll lead the day-to-day execution of our marketing efforts while helping shape the strategic direction of the brand.Who we are:Padre Coffee is a specialty coffee roaster with roots in Melbourne and a presence across the east coast. Guided by a belief in doing better - for our communities, our team, and the planet - were committed to sourcing sustainably, operating responsibly, and creating meaningful connections through everything we do.About the role:You''ll be at the centre of all things marketing - leading key projects like our brand refresh, website rebuild, sponsorships, and major events. You''ll also help shape and share our impact strategy, making sure our Good Coffee Doing Good initiatives are visible and aligned with what we stand for. It''s a hands-on role that blends creativity, project management, and digital know-how. You''ll manage one direct report and work closely with our creative team, agencies, and teams across sales, retail, and operations.What youll do: Own and manage the marketing calendar, campaigns, and key brand initiatives Lead the refresh of our visual identity and website (working with agency partners) Drive brand presence through major sponsorships, partnerships, and events Plan and execute seasonal product launches and in-store activations Oversee the online store, including EDMs, content, promotions, and performance Collaborate with sales and retail teams to create marketing tools and support Shape and communicate our impact strategy, including our Good Coffee Doing Good program Use customer insights, analytics, and reviews to inform and improve activity Guide and support one direct report, helping them grow and thriveWhat youll bring: 35 years experience in a generalist marketing role (brand, digital, content) Experience leading projects across multiple channels (retail, digital, wholesale) Strong project management skills and comfort juggling multiple priorities Some team leadership or mentoring experience An eye for good design and storytelling, plus a knack for getting things done Bonus points for experience in FMCG, hospitality, eCommerce, or lifestyle brandsThe perks: Flexible hybrid working and great work/life balance Extra leave days to recharge Free coffee (of course!)
