Together we can do more.The Clinical Nurse Educator role will provide for the coordination, delivery and evaluation of clinical nurse education (including programs) at the ward/unit level. Such education may include orientation and/or transitioning for new nursing staff and casual nurses as well as meeting the ongoing educational needs of existing nursing staff and supporting the clinical placement of students.The Clinical Nurse Educator will work in collaboration with the Nurse Unit Manager/Nurse Manager and wider hospital team to develop, implement and evaluate clinical education programs relevant to the specialty, provide clinical supervision at point of care and an ongoing focus on quality and safety.For more information and to view the position classification, see the Position Description.A Little About Us.Wollongong Hospital, located on Dharawal Country, is the Illawarra Shoalhavens major referral and teaching hospital and has a bed-base count of more than 500.
