RX is part of RELX, a global provider of information-based analytics and decision tools for professional and business customers. www.rxglobal.comAbout the RoleReporting to the RX Chief Privacy Officer, the APAC Data Protection Manager (DPM) ensures RXs compliance with data protection laws across China, Singapore, South Korea, Australia, Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam. The role provides expert, solution-oriented advice on privacy compliance, supporting the Global Privacy Office and aligning with local legislation (e.g., PIPL, Privacy Act, PDPL, PDPD). The DPM leads privacy assessments, manages compliance tracking, and communicates risks and maturity to senior stakeholders. They are responsible for embedding global privacy standards locally, maintaining data inventories, supporting audits, and delivering tailored privacy training.Working within a global team, the DPM collaborates closely with privacy champions and stakeholders across business units, including the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and C-suite executives. The role demands strong leadership skills, the ability to drive compliance initiatives, and excellent communication skills.
