OverviewThe Royal Melbourne Hospital is one of Australias leading public healthcare providers. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join The Royal Melbourne Hospital as an Emergency Surgery & Trauma Fellow. This is a 12-month Full Time Fixed Term position commencing 2 February 2026.The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) is one of Victorias largest hospitals, providing a comprehensive range of health services and collaborating with the Melbourne Biomedical Precinct to advance research and clinical care.The RMH Trauma Emergency General Surgery (EGS) Service was established in 2011 and is one of the busiest units at RMH. The trauma service manages approximately 4500 admissions annually, including over 1000 with multiple severe injuries.In 2019 RMH was verified as a Level 1 trauma service and the Trauma Fellowship has been accredited as an education and training program in trauma surgery.
