The role is responsible for providing business partnering support and delivering month end, forecast and budget results by performing a selection of processes and functions across a range of P&Ls. The role builds up extensive business knowledge, systems expertise and establishes strong reputation with the internal stakeholders. An enthusiastic attitude with strong attention to details and analytical skills are essential to ensure success. This role will present numerous opportunities for development and career growth for the right candidate.DutiesPrimary responsibilities include:Business Partnering: provide analytical and financial support to Senior Business Leaders / Financial Controller for finance processes / functions through insightful, strategic reporting.Management Accounting: responsible for timely and accurate completion of allocated finance functions for month end, forecasting and budgeting. Delivering regular financial performance reports to senior management, providing clear insights.Financial Modelling: responsible for preparing and analysing financial modelling for budget/ planning within the finance department and for related stakeholders.Process improvement: critically assess workflows and drive efficiencies/ process improvements.Staff management: mentors, guides and engages reporting team member/s to help them achieve their own responsibilities, creating a high performing team.Skills and experienceTo be successful in this role, you''ll have an enthusiastic attitude with strong attention to detail and analytical skills and the following skills/experience:Bachelor degree or equivalent in Finance or AccountingCA / CPA Qualified with minimum 3 years post qualified experience5+ years experience in finance business partneringExceptional business partnering skills, with the ability to influenceExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsExcellent computer literacy and strong excel skillsStrong analytical and problem solving skillsProven ability to prioritise and work under pressure to meet deadlinesAbility to explain concepts to non-financial stakeholders and build relationshipsExperience in process improvement and driving change in a fast-paced environmentEnthusiastic and keen to learn, with an adaptable approach to workThrives in a changing environmentExperience of staff managementAre Media is a proud member of Media Diversity Australia, a not-for-profit organisation working towards a media landscape that looks and sounds like Australia.
