As a Capture Manager, you will create discriminating value propositions, develop and execute strategies to secure contracts, manage diverse teams, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities Win Strategy Development Develop and implement win strategies, competitive intelligence portfolios, teaming strategies, customer assessments, and all elements of captures to maximize probability-of-win. Team Leadership Lead crossfunctional teams, including subject matter experts, solution architects, engineers, commercial and finance staff, and business development personnel. Proposal Management Partner with the Proposal Management team to oversee the development of compelling proposals, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, and managing the bid process. Relationship Management Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams. Compliance and Risk Management Ensure adherence to relevant policies, manage risks, and maintain the integrity of the capture process. Ideal Candidate Proven experience in capture management, bid management, or business development within the Australian Defence industry. Strong leadership and teammanagement skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with experience in proposal writing and development. Experience developing and executing capture strategies while adhering to program budgets. Proven understanding of Australian Defence/Government Agency acquisition processes combined with an appreciation of capability solution elements (scope, cost, schedule). Proven track record in building pipelines and achieving success. All candidates must hold and maintain an active Negative Vetting 1 Defence Security Clearance.
