About The Role Thiess are seeking Expression of Interests for a Pit Services / Projects Superintendent to lead the delivery of critical support functions at Mount Arthur South. In this role, you will oversee pit services, water management, haul road construction and maintenance, and small projects that underpin mining operations. Reporting to the Mining Manager, you will be responsible for: Leading pit services teams to deliver safe, reliable, and costeffective outcomes Managing water systems, haul roads, and ancillary support functions Planning and executing smallscale projects to support operational requirements Driving compliance with Thiess safety, environmental, and operational standards Building strong collaboration with Production, Technical Services, and Maintenance teams Coaching Supervisors and OCEs to support professional growth and team performance Monitoring resourcing, labour, and equipment utilisation to achieve costeffective results Roster & Location 5 days on / 2 days off, with a monthly RDO Mount Arthur South is located five kilometres south of Muswellbrook in the Upper Hunter Valley, NSW About You You will be an experienced mining professional with a strong background in pit services, projects, or ancillary operations in open cut coal. You will demonstrate proven leadership, planning, and project delivery skills.
