This dual-focused role requires you to manage day-to-day financial transactions and ensure payroll compliance. Reporting to the Bookkeeping Manager, you will be responsible for timely task completion and clear communication with our team and clients.Key Responsibilities:Bookkeeping: Reconcile accounts, manage accounts payable and receivable, verify source documents, and prepare and lodge BAS and IAS statements.Payroll: Oversee payroll processes, interpret awards and legislation, and act as a point of contact for complex payroll queries. You will troubleshoot discrepancies, manage compliance, and ensure all Fair Work, superannuation, and payroll tax obligations are met.What We''re Looking For:Bookkeeping certification (TAFE or equivalent) is essential.Working knowledge of Xero Practice Manager, Xero Client Ledger, MYOB, & MS OfficeExperience with payroll compliance, award interpretation, and Fair Work regulations.A strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and a proactive approach to identifying process improvements.This is a great opportunity to use your expertise to support a diverse client base and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
