Each case requires precise teamwork and quick decision-making, and your compassionate care during high-pressure, life-saving procedures makes an immediate impact on the patients experience.Youll have the opportunity for continuous learning with support from the CNE, as well as a mentor, in-services and hospital-based cardiology education.Your day typically starts at around 7:30 am Monday to Friday, and finishes at 18:30, ending with reflection and preparation for the next shift. There is some after-hours on-call work, including weekends.This role provides a unique opportunity to try out the Cardiac Cath Lab or to get your foot in the door for a nursing career that may better suit your lifestyle with by and large Monday to Friday daytime work.To view the Position Description.Responsibilities Perform and assist in cath lab procedures such as angiograms, angioplasties, pacemaker placements and stent placements with attention to patient safety and comfort. Collaborate with cardiologists, radiographers and nursing team to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
