Your extensive knowledge of the Australian Coding Standards will be instrumental in helping the department to achieve our targets, secure successful audits, and provide ongoing guidance to internal stakeholders.You will be a valued member of a highly skilled team working in a bright, collaborative environment, and utilising our user-friendly, customised Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to uphold the highest standards in clinical coding.Who were looking forYoull have completed a recognised clinical coding qualification through HIMAA, Latrobe or similar.Youll have 5+ years experience in Australian Coding Standards (ICD 10 AM, ACHI, and ACS)Youll have 3+ years experience in coding education and audit experience in a tertiary level hospital.Youll have demonstrated experience using 3M Codefinder and extensive knowledge of casemix and clinical coding.Youll have the ability to prioritise workload to achieve key performance indicators and meet deadlines.Youll have excellent communication skills (both written & oral), with proven experience interacting with clinicians and other healthcare professional.Youll have an exceptional eye for detail and organisational skills.About UsAdventist HealthCare owns and operates San Day Surgery, Hornsby, and the Sydney Adventist Hospital (fondly known as the San).
